Kevin McCullar is officially returning for another year in Lawrence, Kansas, where he will play his super senior season for Kansas basketball.

The 2023-24 Kansas Jayhawks roster was talented without him on it, but now that he is certain about returning, Kevin McCullar makes this KU squad one of the best teams Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self has ever assembled.

McCullar is running it back with the team to be its veteran leader, a higher draft pick for next year’s NBA Draft, and, most importantly, to compete for a national championship.

His tremendous impact should make Kansas the country’s best team on paper during the current stages of the offseason, and there are three significant reasons why that is.
