Kansas basketball: Top 10 all-time scorers for the KU Jayhawks
8. Keith Langford (1,812 points)
Langford was ranked No. 91 in the top 100 recruits in his class upon approaching KU, but it is safe to say he turned out to be significantly better than what everyone expected.
In 136 college games played, he averaged 13.3 points per game from 2001 to 2005. Langford served Roy Williams for two years and Bill Self for two years. He was a tremendous guard inside the perimeter, whether it was his spot-on shots from mid-range or his athleticism to get to the basket. Whenever Kansas needed a bucket, he delivered.
Langford finished with a career total of 1,812 points at Kansas. While he is another guy who didn’t get much recognition at the NBA level, he has been playing professional basketball since 2005. He spent his past three seasons at AEK Athens (2019-2022) and is now officially retired at the age of 39.
