5. Bill Self is still the head coach of Kansas. He will make it work.

It’s as simple as that. Self is 11 wins away from becoming the school’s winningest coach of all-time. He has won two national championships and dealt with hardships every offseason. There is no reason to think he will not bounce back from this slight mishap.

Coach Self is as hungry as ever to win a championship after missing the 2023 postseason due to a health scare. Spring Bill Self might have had some rocky moments this year, but let’s not forget he brought in the best player in the history of the transfer portal. Kansas will be just fine.
