Kansas basketball: Three things Dajuan Harris must improve on next season
1. He must become a more consistent player and stop vanishing from games.
As terrific as Harris is, one might not know what he is capable of on certain nights. He scored five or fewer points during 12 games last season. In those games, he shot an abysmal 23.8 percent from the field.
The Jayhawks do not need Dajuan to rack up points every game, but it certainly does help when he does. KU was 17-1 in games where he scored double-digits last season.
He is the X-factor of the team. When Harris struggles, everyone else struggles. He must stay involved throughout each game, whether it be through playmaking or defense. And when there are games where his shot is not falling, the ball must stay in his hands — he is the team’s quarterback.
