2. LJ Cryer (Baylor to Houston)

2022-23 season stats: 31 GP, 15.0 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 2.1 APG, 45.3% FG

Cryer is one of the many intra-conference transfers in the Big 12, transferring from Baylor to Houston. He won a national title with the Bears in 2021 and was their third-leading scorer this season.

Simply put, Cryer is a flamethrower. A year ago, he shot 46.8 percent from three-point range, and this year he shot 41.5 percent on 6.2 attempts. He would have been a terrific addition to Kansas had he come to Lawrence.

Kelvin Sampson knew he had to reload his roster after the departure of Sasser, and he has done that in an outstanding way. Houston will be one of the best basketball teams in their debut season in the Big 12 due to their transfer additions.
