4. Jesse Edwards (Syracuse to West Virginia)

2022-23 season stats: 32 GP, 14.3 PPG, 10.3 RPG, 1.6 APG, 59.2% FG

West Virginia will be one of the best teams in the Big 12 next season with the roster they have created. Bob Huggins’ unit will be a force to be reckoned with after adding Edwards, Battle, and Kriisa.

Edwards is a terrific rim protector who averaged 2.8 and 2.7 blocks in the past two seasons for Syracuse, respectively. In a conference like the Big 12, where there are not many true big men, he should feast on smaller opponents.

Kansas had been linked to Edwards and even made his final three list of schools, but he ultimately chose the Mountaineers. His shot-blocking and athletic ability will make him a menace next season.
