5. Damian Dunn (Temple to Houston)

2022-23 season stats: 31 GP, 15.3 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 3.0 APG, 41.1% FG

Many players could have made this No. 5 spot, such as RaeQuan Battle (West Virginia), Kerr Kriisa (West Virginia), or Keshon Gilbert (Iowa State). However, Dunn’s time at a semi-competitive conference and college basketball experience ranks him above those guys.

Dunn is a prolific scorer who scored 20+ points eight times in 2022-23, including 34 and 38-point performances. While he can be inefficient, he is someone who can score at will for the Cougars.

He and another player (to be named later) who transferred to Houston will make them a formidable opponent for the Jayhawks this season, even after they lost consensus All-American Marcus Sasser to the NBA Draft.
