5. Marcus Morris — Los Angeles Clippers

2022-23 season stats: 65 GP, 11.2 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 1.8 APG, 42.6% FG

“Mook” Morris was a fantastic player at KU, so it is not surprising to see the career he has carved out in the NBA. Despite being 33 years old, he has continued to strive in the league, unlike his brother Markieff. Marcus has averaged double-digit points in every season since 2014-15.

He is one of the better jump shooters at his position and excels in the pull-up game. Despite his bulky frame, he still can take defenders mano-a-mano and put them in the blender.

As he has aged, Morris has slowly regressed statistically. He posted the lowest points-per-game total in nearly a decade this season and has not played more than 65 games in four years. We could be witnessing the final few years of his NBA career.

Often considered a hothead, he plays with intense energy at all times. Very few players get in the face of other guys and challenge them like Morris does. He might not be what he once was, but the former All-American at KU represents the school well.
