6. Ochai Agbaji — Utah Jazz

2022-23 season stats: 59 GP, 7.9 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 1.1 APG, 42.7% FG

Agbaji, a former teammate of Braun, comes just ahead of him on this list. He was the first lottery pick taken out of Kansas since Josh Jackson in 2017, but he struggled greatly to start the season. Agbaji certainly did not live up to where he was selected in the draft. However, he came into his own as the season entered the latter stages.

After a rough start, he racked up DNPs and was phased out of Utah’s lineup. Over the final 18 games, though, Agbaji averaged 14.2 points, albeit while shooting under 40 percent from the field.

An offseason of hard work will do Ochai some good. To live up to his expectations, he must have a better shot selection and develop more muscle.

His potential as an outside shooter is extremely high. The question is if he will be able to put in the work and continue to get better. Considering we saw the growth of Agbaji during his time at Kansas, we should expect him to adjust to the NBA rather quickly.
