8. Devonte’ Graham — San Antonio Spurs

2022-23 season stats: 73 GP, 7.4 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 2.7 APG, 37.4% FG

One thing about Devonte’ is that he is never afraid to shoot the ball. That quality has nearly removed him from the league, as he is constantly one of the NBA’s most inefficient players. He welcomed the reputation of being a “chucker” with open arms.

In his second season, Graham took 9.3 threes per game. That is a Stephen Curry-esque volume. He still averaged 18.2 points and 7.5 assists that year in what was unquestionably his best season.

“Tae” lasted just one and a half seasons with the Pelicans before he was released. The San Antonio Spurs picked him up after the All-Star break, where he scored 13.0 points per game. He might have found himself a home if the Spurs liked what they saw.

Graham has one of the deepest bags of any point guard in the league, but he heaves up shots far more than he should. Nonetheless, he has averaged double-digit points over his first five seasons in the NBA and sunk a total of 742 threes.
