9. Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk — Charlotte Hornets

2022-23 season stats: 32 GP, 6.9 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 1.7 APG, 44.5% FG

Svi set the Kansas single-season record for triples made in 2017-18, and his hot shooting hand has kept him in the NBA. A lifetime 36.0 percent shooter from beyond the arc, Mykhailiuk hit a career-high 42.4 percent of his treys this year. The ultimate journeyman, Svi is already playing for his sixth team at age 25.

While he might not be remembered in the history books, he has carved out a better NBA career than most late second-rounders have. In the final nine games of this regular season, Mykhailiuk averaged 17.0 points and 4.8 assists for Charlotte. This stretch of performances might have him in line for a long-term contract.

He is still a young player who has a valuable jump shot. In today’s fast-paced NBA, a player who can shoot well off the catch is priceless. If he can hover his three-point percentage around 40 percent again, Svi will have no problem finding minutes off the bench for an NBA organization.
