1. Hunter Dickinson — Michigan Wolverines

2022-23 season stats: 18.5 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 1.5 APG

You are probably tired of hearing about Dickinson’s recruitment process. It has felt like ages that we have waited for his decision, yet it could be several more weeks until he chooses his next school.

We won’t go over the spiel of why he would be the perfect Bill Self player again. Who doesn’t want a 7-foot big man who can shoot the three and drop 20-10 on any given night? He is the best player in the transfer portal, and KU would be lucky to have him.

Dickinson just finished his official visit to Kansas and is set to visit Kentucky next. It is the battle of the blue bloods for the former All-American. Maryland and Georgetown are still in the mix, but their presence is far less threatening than John Calipari and his recruitment tactics.

The greatness of next year’s team is contingent depends on acquiring Dickinson. KU would be a top-notch team without him, as they always are, but he would put them over the top. He is their number one transfer target this off-season.
