These are the top three remaining transfer targets the Kansas Jayhawks have been linked to.

The transfer portal has become the free agency of college basketball and football. Four-year players who stay at the same school are hard to come by. Players would rather transfer out of a challenging situation instead of earning their playing time, which partially correlates to the emergence of NIL deals for these kids.

Whether or not we like the prominence of the transfer portal is another conversation. In this sport, you must have experienced players to make a deep tournament run. With just one returning senior from last year’s team (Dajuan Harris), the Jayhawks will have to make a splash in a big way in the transfer portal. After landing the highly coveted Nick Timberlake out of Towson, two open rosters spots remain. One or two of the individuals on this list will likely take up a roster spot on next year’s team.
