Kansas football had a three-star tight end commit to the program, tacking on another player to an already impressive recruiting class.

The Kansas Jayhawks are slated to have their best recruiting class in over a decade for the Class of 2024. KU is stacked at the tight end position and recently had Carson Bruhn commit to them. He is a 6-foot-6-inch, 230-pound player from Sioux Center, Iowa.

247 Sports lists Bruhn as the 898th-best player in his class and the 37th-best tight end. In addition to Bruhn, the Jayhawks have received commitments from three-star CB Aundre Gibson, QB Isaiah Marshall, and RB Red Martel.

Bruhn will provide depth at the position for KU and could see his role increase in a few years. After senior Mason Fairchild graduates, the tight end spot will be open for grabs. Head coach Lance Leipold likes having blocking tight ends on the field, so that is one way Bruhn could work his way into getting first-team reps.

Other programs interested in Bruhn were Kansas State, Minnesota, Missouri, and South Dakota. He might not make his presence felt immediately, but he is a solid pickup for Kansas.
