3. Washington Wizards: 8th pick in NBA Draft

Washington seems to be in a never-ending cycle of mediocrity. Despite having three players average more than 20 points per game, the Wizards failed to surpass 35 wins for the fifth straight season. They must offload Bradley Beal’s horrendous contract, and doing so could open up a spot for Gradey Dick to be the team’s starting two-guard.

After Johnny Davis nearly flunked out of the NBA as a rookie, the Wizards’ front office must make up for their draft selection last year. Most of the team is in their upper 20s, and Dick would reinvigorate the team as a 19-year-old coming into the league.

Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis mack up their frontcourt, so Dick would be a terrific addition to their backcourt. Washington will be doing a disservice to their fans if they do not select a guard with their first-round pick.
