Several players in the transfer portal have been linked to Kansas in the past week, and some could be great additions to next year’s team.

Bill Self and Kansas must be big-time players in the transfer portal for the upcoming season. The only scholarship players returning on the roster are Dajuan Harris, KJ Adams, Ernest Udeh Jr., Kyle Cuffe Jr., and Zuby Ejiofor. Including those five, there are four incoming recruits. That leaves the program needing four scholarship players, assuming no other players transfer and no freshmen decide to redshirt.

Fans could mull over the players they want to come to Lawrence, but most will be heading elsewhere. However, these transfers have already spoken to Kansas affiliates regarding where they will attend school next.

Eight players have connected with the Jayhawks in portal discussions. With multiple players needed to fill out the team, one or two of these guys could choose KU as their next home.
