3. Rice will be able to put his injury-riddled freshman season behind him.

Rice had somewhat of a confusing year in 2022-23. He saw plenty of minutes in some games and did not get checked in once in others. However, it seems the primary reason that happened so often was his back injury.

He dealt with back spasms for the entirety of the year, stretching from November to February. Rice could not get fully set into the team with his lingering injury. Back spasms tend to go away after a while, but his could have been extra painful.

With an off-season to recover and put in more work, Rice can put his injuries behind him. Hopefully, we did not see him at 100% this season and he can fully tap into his potential.
