Kansas basketball: Five things to know about the Arkansas Razorbacks
Eric Musselman’s squad narrowly defeated the Illinois Fighting Illini in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. They will look to keep their season alive this Saturday vs. Kansas.
The Arkansas Razorbacks put together a legendary recruiting class in 2022, headlined by the No. 1 recruit in the country, Nick Smith. It was the best in their program’s history by a large margin, placing second in the country in the 247 Sports national rankings. They brought in fellow five-stars Anthony Black and Jordan Walsh to accompany several four-stars.
It has not been the season that they have hoped for. The pre-season AP poll had them as the 10th team in the country, yet they flirted with the bubble and finished 9th in the SEC. Although their talent level is off the charts, the team’s inexperience has been evident.
Arkansas can look very good or very bad during their games. If they can play at their best against the Kansas Jayhawks, they will have a chance to run away with this one. Here are five things that all KU fans should be aware of before tomorrow’s matchup with the Razorbacks.
