Kansas vs Oklahoma State Prediction

The Jayhawks narrowly avoided disaster against Oklahoma and now hope for a much more comfortable win tonight. They’re just 2-6 against the spread (ATS) in their last eight games and shot just 13/23 from the free throw line against the Sooners.

Kansas should be prepared for this one and did already beat the Cowboys in Oklahoma by 11 last month. The Cowboys are a good defensive team but turn the ball over on 21% of their possessions and have the 305th-ranked defensive rebounding rate, meaning Kansas should have plenty of fast-break opportunities and second-chance points to blow the game open.

While Kansas has struggled against the spread lately, Oklahoma State has been even worse. They’re just 5-13 ATS since the start of December and are just 2-6 ATS on the road this year. Allen Fieldhouse is not the place you want to travel to when you’re trying to snap out of a slump, and unless the Cowboys have an outlier performance from beyond the arc, I don’t see how they keep up with this Jayhawks team.

I’m taking Kansas -11 (-110) in this one but also like the over 143. Both teams play at a top-100 pace and the Jayhawks’ poor performance from the free throw line against Oklahoma is giving us some value with this number. The over is 7-4-1 in Kansas’ home games this year and has hit in three straight Oklahoma State road games as their defense has hit a lull. I see the Jayhawks winning this one somewhere in the neighborhood of 80-67 and breaking out of their cold streak.

The Jayhawks need to make sure they cash in at the free throw line tonight, just like you need to make sure you cash in on WynnBET’s free $200 offer today. Don’t forget to claim your offer now. Bet $10, Win $200 by signing up for WynnBET now!
