Coach Bill Self consistently schedules a strong non-conference slate to prepare his team for the rigors of conference and post-season play.
KU has finished in the top 5 in non-conference strength of schedule for the past 8 out of 10 seasons, with the outliers being #14 in 2020-2021 and #6 in 2018-2019.
Even with the Big 12 shake-ups, the conference will still boast solid teams that we know will give KU challenges every night come January.
