Best Jayhawks of the 2000s

Sherron Collins (2007-2010)

Sherron Collins is one of the more decorated players in Kansas Basketball history. He is one of the best point guards in Jayhawk history, leading some of KU’s best teams.

In 2009 and 2010, Sherron was a consensus All-American and First-Team All-Big 12. On the 2008 national championship team, Collins was the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year.

Sherron was a mainstay at point guard in his time in Lawrence, playing in 143 games. Over his college career, he averaged 13.2 points and 3.9 assists.

  • 7th in minutes (4,071)
