Drew Gooden, Forward (2000-2002)
The 6’10” power forward amassed three strong seasons with Kansas Basketball. In the 2001-2002 season, Drew Gooden received Big 12 Player of the Year, NABC Co-National Player of the Year, and Big 12 All-Defensive team honors.
Drew Gooden helped lead the Jayhawks to the 2002 Final Four, averaging a double-double with 19.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. Over his career, he averaged 15.6 and 9.2 rebounds per game.
Though he only spent three seasons in Lawrence, Gooden ranks highly on several career stats lists. In Kansas Basketball history, Drew ranks 21st all-time in scoring (1,526) and 6th in rebounding (905).
