As college programs across the country begin the search for 2023 talent, Kansas basketball has made an offer to Centennial junior Kylan Boswell.

The six-foot-one point guard is receiving attention this summer, especially from his footage at Section 7 in Phoenix. Supported by his speed, Boswell can make an impact from both inside the paint and the perimeter, making him a deadly offensive weapon.

His athleticism has put him on the map, landing the California-native offers from Arizona, Texas Tech, Louisville, San Diego State, Washington, and of course, Kansas.

Boswell was thrilled to receive an offer from the Jayhawks, even describing head coach Bill Self as “one of the GOAT’S of coaching college basketball”, according to ZagsBlog.com.

His junior season is quickly approaching, and it will be an important year for the young guard.

While his athleticism is there, Boswell will need to bulk up a bit more to continue developing a confident attack inside. This will pair with height, which will be vital in his case as well. The good news is, he’s on the right track.

Adding another two years of growth should do Boswell wonders, and hopefully, score him quite a few more offers along the way.

Kansas is chasing someone like Boswell based on proven success from developing young point guards. Boswell shares some similar size traits to Devonte’ Graham, a Jayhawk who developed into a very talented point guard from his young potential.

One could assume Coach Self has the same idea with Boswell, based on these exciting similarities. Having a bounce-back 2021-22 season would influence his decision too, considering the talented roster currently in the works at Kansas.

Boswell may end up being a player that receives growing attention over the next six months though, so things could get competitive as the national recruiting buzz continues through the 2021-22 season.
