This year’s NBA Draft Combine invitations have been released, and Kansas basketball’s Jalen Wilson and Remy Martin didn’t make the list.

However, guard Ochai Agbaji made the cut. Fans have been speculating whether or not he’ll return for his senior season, the combine might be the next best clue.

Scheduled for June 21-27, pushing close to the draft decision deadline falling on July 7th.

Every combine gives draft prospects the ability to market themselves closer to draft day, which in Agbaji’s case, may be a make-or-break deal.
The good news is, he’ll have time to decide whether or not to rejoin both Wilson and Martin, given neither of these two Jayhawks remains in the draft.

Jalen Wilson did receive an invitation to the NBA’s G-League Elite Camp, along with teammate and recent graduate, Marcus Garrett. Whether or not Wilson will attend the camp remains to be known, however, it’s an opportunity to get exposure to NBA scouts interested in young, talented players.

On the Remy Martin end of things, not being featured on the draft combine guest list should be a positive signal for Kansas fans. Hopefully, this will encourage Martin to step onto the college court for another year and chase a national title with the Jayhawks.

Both Wilson and Martin have the best chances of returning to Kansas based on initial impressions so far, however, Agbaji’s choice remains up in the air. It’s a strong look for him and will give him a chance to put his skills on display with more of the NBA’s most talented prospects.

If Agbaji decides to return to Kansas, the roster instantly becomes a favorite. While the clock is ticking on the draft decision deadline of July 7th, fans shouldn’t count out the chance of a “super-team” brewing up instead.
