Kansas football spring rushing analysis and early impressions

Daniel Hishaw Jr.

While Kansas’ back-half of the schedule wasn’t one worthy of much merit, Daniel Hishaw Jr. made a solid impression during those final weeks.

Hishaw brings a powerful amount of strength behind the ball and could be a sleeping giant in this Kansas backfield.

In his matchups against Oklahoma and Texas Tech, Hishaw rushed for over 70 yards in each game. The current freshman saw some decent touches, which gave fans some short doses of optimism.

While young, I think Daniel is someone that Kansas build on in 2021. From a look at his progress this spring, I think fans should be excited to see where he goes with KU.

Considering that Kansas will be likely rotating multiple running backs in the fall, fans should expect to see a healthy amount of Hishaw during the first few weeks.
