Five Kansas basketball players to watch during March Madness

Dajuan Harris

One of Kansas’ younger products, Dajuan Harris has made quite a name for himself locally in his first season with the Jayhawks.

Originally committed to Missouri State, Harris’ contributions to Kansas’ offense have helped him grow exponentially throughout his first year in Lawrence.

The freshman also is 19th in assists in the Big 12 Conference, which has been influenced by a decent amount of minutes he’s seen during the season.

With Jalen Wilson’s absence on Saturday, Harris will likely see more minutes as a result.

Dajuan’s speed brings an interesting dynamic to the Jayhawks’ offense. It has proven effective in situations where he can work himself through the defense but has also plagued Kansas with turnovers at times.

Heading into the NCAA Tournament, it seems that the freshman is working out the kinks. Following his light performance against the Sooners last week, he could be ready to showcase his speed against Eastern Washington on Saturday.
