Kansas basketball is expected to return to the floor this Saturday in their opening round against Eastern Washington.

When the Jayhawks return, it’ll be all eyes on Kansas to make a statement following their conference tournament withdrawal.

If Kansas is going to silence any doubts about the length of their tournament hopes, it’ll come with a win in the opening round to pick themselves up off their feet.

While the matchup is on the lighter side, Kansas will need some extra help. Sophomore Jalen Wilson, who’s still recovering from Covid-19, will be absent from the contest, opening a spot on the Jayhawks’ starting five.
