Three Kansas basketball players that could make a difference going into March.

David McCormack

If there’s been a ‘go-to’ man for Kansas this season, it’s David McCormack. The junior has consistently found success inside, which has been a driving force for the Jayhawks’ offense.

Running into a rough patch midway through their conference schedule, Dave had been the guy Kansas was relying on strongest to help keep them in the conversation. With his size and strength inside, he’s likely been the most consistent Jayhawk on the floor.

The junior forward finds an average of 13 points per game, which has helped boost Kansas at times to keep them in games.

The real question is whether or not Kansas can keep themselves from falling behind and leaning on McCormack to steer them back in the right direction.

With a slow start against Iowa State, Dave supported Kansas inside enough to push past the Cyclones with the win. If the Jayhawks are going to find success in the tournament, they’re going to need to lighten McCormack’s load to keep him from getting over-worked.
