Kansas basketball is a top pick of Dylan Andrews, a five-star point guard in the 2022 recruiting class who would be a huge catch for the Jayhawks.

Point guard and 2022 recruit Dylan Andrews has announced his top eight choices, with Kansas basketball making the cut. Andrews would undoubtedly be a massive pick up for the Jayhawks’ 2022 class if he decides to commit in the future, but that commitment probably won’t be very soon.

Along with Kansas, Andrews also listed UCLA, Oregon, Stanford, Arizona State, Arizona, Louisville, and North Carolina. The Jayhawks will obviously have some competition to land the talented recruit, who’s rated as a five-star according to 247Sports‘ rankings.

Here is the Tweet announcing Dylan Andrews’ top eight schools as of now:

It seems obvious that Andrews would like to play in the Pac-12, which makes sense. He’s a Los Angelas native, and five of his eight schools are members of the Pac-12. The other three programs, Kansas, Louisville, and North Carolina, are prestigious in their own right.

If Bill Self and his staff are going to sell Andrews on coming to Kansas, they’re going to have to show him that he can succeed as a Jayhawk more so than a Tar Heel or Bruin. The good news is that Kansas has plenty of great examples.

Devon Dotson, Devonte’ Graham, and Frank Mason are just three recent point guards that have had tremendous amounts of success at Kansas. All three made it to the NBA (or will make it to the NBA), and it’s hard to find that kind of pedigree anywhere else in the nation.
