Kansas football vs. West Virginia: Game time, odds, channel, and more

Kansas football will take on West Virginia later this morning. Here’s what you need to know, including the game time, odds, channel, and more.

Kansas football vs. West Virginia at a glance:

Playing against West Virginia, Kansas football will have a unique challenge. The Jayhawks will be without head coach Les Miles, who tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Miles was cleared to travel; however, he will not make the trip to Morgantown.

In his place, tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Joshua Eargle will take over the head coaching duties. Eargle has some head coach experience at the collegiate level, leading East Texas Baptist for three seasons and a conference championship.

If Kansas is going to get the win on the road, they’ll need to fix a lot of their problems that they’ve had. The good news is that they had a bye week going into this game, so we should so some improvement despite the head coaching change.

Stopping running back Leddie Brown should be a point of emphasis for the Jayhawk defense. Brown has been tearing teams up this season, and the Kansas defense has struggled to stop the run. The defense also needs to work to create turnovers, considering they haven’t caused one all year.

On offense, Miles Kendrick will be starting for the Jayhawks. It’s the first time this season that a QB was announced well-before game time, which is a welcome change. Kendrick has shown flashes this season, and it’ll be exciting to see what he can do.
