Kansas football will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys this afternoon. Here’s what you need to know including the game time, odds, weather, TV channel, and more.

Kansas football vs. Oklahoma State at a glance:

The big story from Kansas’ 47-14 loss last Saturday against Baylor was the choice to start true freshman quarterback Jalon Daniels, who didn’t look too bad all things considered. Daniels probably isn’t going to wow anyone with his stats, but he did show some potential which is a good sign. Daniels will presumably get the start once again this week despite head coach Les Miles not announcing him as their starter.

Then again, the Jayhawks will probably have to worry a lot more about what the Cowboys are doing on offense than anything else. Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard is easily one of the best, or maybe even the best running back in college football. He rushed for over 2,000 yards last season, and so far he’s racked up 194 this season.

The quarterback situation is a little bit up in the air though for the Cowboys. Last week, back up Shane Illingworth suited up in place of Spencer Sanders and led Oklahoma State to a 27-13 win over West Virginia on the road. It does sound like Sanders will be back to take on the Jayhawks though according to the Tulsa World.

Picking up the win is not going to be easy for the Jayhawks this afternoon. Oklahoma State is arguably the best team in the Big 12, they’re strong on both sides of the ball, and they’re undefeated so far this season. For Kansas, they’ll need to play a mistake-free game where they start fast and make big plays if they’re going to stay competitive.
