Kansas football the favorite to land three-star recruit Jayden Jones
As of now, Kansas football looks like the favorite to land three-star prospect and defensive end Jayden Jones out of Dallas, Texas.
Kansas football recruit Jayden Jones announced his top four today, as well as a commitment date which is set for September 19. Landing Jones would be awesome for the Jayhawks’ 2021 class, which is currently ranked within the top five of the Big 12.
Along with Kansas, Jones also included North Texas, Colorado, and Washington State in his top four. He also holds offers from Arizona, Illinois, Colorado State, UNLV, and many others. After looking at Jones’ highlights, he certainly deserves a spot on a Power Five roster.
Jones looks nearly unblockable against most of the offensive linemen, and with some good coaching, he could certainly be a viable Power Five option. Here is Jones’ tweet announcing his top four schools and commitment date:
The good news for the Kansas Jayhawks is that they appear to be the favorite to land Jones as of now. Kansas has a Crystal Ball prediction in their favor, and they’re also the most likely team to land Jones according to Rivals’ FutureCast. If Kansas does come out on top, the Jayhawks would certainly move up in team rankings.
As of now, the Jayhawks’ 2021 class comes in at No. 35 in the nation and No. 4 in the Big 12 according to Rivals. Miles and his staff still have some prospects in this class that they can land in addition to Jones, so this class could be one of the better ones in recent memory for the Jayhawks.
Keep an eye on Jones’ social media for a specific commitment time on the 19th. Hopefully, we’ll see him decide to join the Jayhawks’ 2021 recruiting class and come to Lawrence.
