Kansas football’s 2020 season is almost upon us. Here are game by game predictions for the Jayhawks.

The Jayhawks have struggled to win more than just a few games per season for over a decade now, but maybe this will be the year for Kansas football. The Jayhawks are returning quite a few stars on their offense, and despite losing starters on the defensive side, Kansas can’t get must worse than last season on that side of the ball.

First-team All-Big 12 running back Pooka Williams will be back for his junior season, and he should be considered one of the best backs in the nation. Kansas will also have a solid wide receiver trio in Andrew Parchment, Stephon Robinson, and Kwamie Lassiter II.

Both Parchment and Williams were named to the All-Big 12 Preseason Football Team.

The biggest question the Kansas Jayhawks are facing this season is who their starting quarterback will be. Head coach Les Miles has mentioned Thomas MacVittie, Miles Kendrick, and Miles Fallin, and Miles has also stated that the starter probably won’t be known to the public until game day.

So what should we expect from Kansas football in 2020?

Without bringing up the numbers, everyone knows Kansas has been a tough place to succeed at. For this season, three wins would be solid for the Jayhawks. Keep in mind that Kansas will only be playing 10 games instead of the usual 12, and nine of the 10 games are against Big 12 opponents.

It’s going to be a tough season to say the least, not even considering all of the extra challenges posed by the coronavirus. So, here are game by game predictions for the Kansas Jayhawks’ 2020 football season.
