Kansas basketball has offered Aidan Shaw, a talented Kansas native and four-star small forward in the recruiting class of 2022.

For now, Kansas basketball’s 2022 recruiting class is completely empty, however, that’s bound to change soon given the number of offers Bill Self and his staff are handing out. One of their most recent offers was to Aidan Shaw, a four-star small forward in the class of 2022 from Stillwell, Kansas.

Despite being in the class of 2022, Shaw already has quite a few offers including Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, TCU, Iowa, USC, Creighton, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest. He’s also garnered interest from Butler, Illinois, Purdue, Missouri, and many others.

Here is Shaw’s Tweet announcing his offer from the Kansas Jayhawks:

Shaw is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 67 overall recruit in his class according to 247Sports‘ rankings. Keep in mind that Shaw’s ranking could improve drastically since he still has a lot of time to develop. He already has a great frame at six-foot-eight and 190 pounds, so the potential is there.

Shaw’s size also gives him an edge in terms of versatility, which is probably one of the many reasons why he is so highly recruited. He’s bound to receive a lot more offers, so head coach Bill Self and his staff will need to stay engaged.

There are a lot of solid prospects in the state of Kansas when it comes to the 2022 class, most notably five-star recruit Mark Mitchell and as well as Gradey Dick and Shaw who are both four-stars. The Jayhawks have already offered all of these players, and landing two out of the three should be the goal.

HOOPS. Ranking the top 10 Jayhawks of all time. light

Kansas basketball could have a really epic 2022 class if they can land some of these prospects that they’re going after, like Shaw. His size and versatility can help the Jayhawks, especially if he continues to develop at a good pace.
