Kansas football will be trying to improve this season and win more than just one Big 12 game. Theses three road games are all winnable for the Jayhawks.

It’s no secret that Kansas football has struggled to compete with teams in the Big 12 for the better part of a decade. The Jayhawks have finished last place in the conference for the past five seasons in a row, and the goal for 2020 should be to break that streak.

The Jayhawks came very close last season to picking up a few conference wins, although they ultimately came up short. Against West Virginia at home, Kansas was defeated by a close 24-29 score in a highly contested game.

Later in the season on the road against Texas, the Jayhawks went back in forth with the Longhorns in a good ole Big 12 shootout. The Jayhawks held a 48-47 lead with time running out; however,
Cameron Dicker kicked a field goal as time expired to give Texas the 50-48 win. The Jayhawks would go on to beat Texas Tech the following week on a game-winning field goal of their own.

Kansas proved last season on more than one occasion that they have some firepower, which is a solid sign for the direction of the program. Now, the challenge will be to get over the hump and actually win those close games.

Here are three Big 12 Conference road games from next season’s schedule that the Jayhawks have a decent chance to win (in no particular order).
