Kansas football has made the top five for offensive lineman Kolinu’u Faaiu, a talented three-star recruit from Washington.

So far, Kansas football only has two linemen in their recruiting class of 2021. That could change if three-star prospect Kolinu’u Faaiu decides to commit to the Jayhawks. Faaiu recently listed his top five schools which included Michigan State, Washington State, Boise State, Utah, and of course the Kansas Jayhawks.

In addition to those schools, Faaiu also holds offers from Maryland, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and UNLV.

Here is Faaiu’s Twitter post announcing his top five:

Out of North Creek High School in Bothell, Washington, Faaiu stands at six-foot-four and 315 pounds. At just 17 years old, he’s got a really solid frame that could transition well to the Power Five level.

Finding a way to land Faaiu should be a priority for Kansas. He’d be a great addition to the Jayhawks’ class of ‘21 which currently ranks No. 40 in the nation and No. 6 in the Big 12 according to 247 Sports.

Should Faaiu commit to Kansas, he’d be joining fellow offensive lineman Edgar Amaya and De’Kedrick Sterns in the Jayhawks’ class of 2021. Despite all three being three-stars, they were all highly recruited by other FBS and Power Five programs, so don’t let the stars fool you.

So far, Les Miles and his staff have done an excellent job recruiting the class of 2021. They’ve gotten out early and it’s paid off with some big commitments from guys like Devin Neal and Andrew Simpson. Hopefully, Faaiu will be the next name on that list.
