Now that the Kansas Jayhawks have released their non-conference, we can start to pick out the games that should be huge resume boosters when tournament time comes around. The fact that Kansas doesn’t make it easy is a good thing, since playing against solid teams in totally necessary in order to receive a No. 1 or 2 seed in March Madness.

Even though we didn’t get to see where the Jayhawks would be seeded for the 2020 tournament, it stands to reason that they would have been the No. 1 overall seed, partially based on their wins over Dayton, BYU, Colorado, Stanford, and ETSU.

Based on the top teams the Jayhawks will be competing against next season in the non-con schedule, they’ll have another great chance at a No. 1 seed as long as they also take care of business against opponents in the Big 12.
