Kansas basketball head coach Bill Self has been providing breakdowns of some iconic games during his tenure on his show ‘Self Perspective.’

Finally, the second episode of Self Perspective has dropped giving Kansas basketball fans something to watch during these trying times. The new episode features Self analyzing the Jayhawks’ 90-84 win over Dayton to win the Maui Invitational last season.

Now, Self has done two of Kansas’ more prominent overtime games, with the first episode detailing Kansas’ win over Duke in the 2018 Elite Eight. What are some other games Self should dive into on his new show? Here are a few ideas, excluding the ’08 title game since Self live-tweeted it recently.

#3 Kansas vs. #1 Baylor, 2/22/2020

With this game being as recent as last season, it’d be a fun one to hear Self’s thoughts on. The Jayhawks were able to come away with a 64-61 behind Udoka Azubuike’s 23 points and 19 rebounds.

#1 Kansas vs. #2 Oklahoma, 1/4/2016

Kansas basketball’s triple-overtime thriller against #2 Oklahoma in Allen Fieldhouse was a game for the ages, and it’d be super cool to know what was going through Self’s mind when the Jayhawks won 109-106.

#4 Kansas vs. #3 Missouri, 2/25/2012

The Jayhawks came back and beat the Tigers in an overtime game that was believed to be the final Border War. It’s arguably the greatest game in Allen Fieldhouse history and Thomas Robinson’s swat will live on in Jayhawk lore forever.

#2 Kansas vs. #11 Kansas State, 1/30/2010

Kansas basketball had a top 15 battle vs. in-state rival Kansas State back in 2010. Five Jayhawks scored 12 or more points on the way to the 81-79 road win for Kansas.

#2 Kansas vs. #15 Texas, 3/11/2007

Freshman Kevin Durant dropped 25 points against Kansas but it wasn’t enough. The Jayhawks came away with an 88-84 overtime win to secure the 2007 Big 12 Tournament Championship. It’d be interesting to know what Self though about Durant during his college days.

Hopefully, Self Perspective is nowhere close to being finished. There are so many other games that would be hall of famer Bill Self could share his thoughts on, plus, Kansas basketball fans just need something to do right now.
