Kansas basketball head coach Bill Self will be live-tweeting during a replay of the Jayhawks’ 2018 Elite Eight win over Duke tomorrow on March 29.

Head coach Bill Self came out of Twitter retirement last week to live-tweet Kansas basketball’s 2008 national title game against Memphis to an overwhelmingly positive response from fans. It was a fun break from the fact that things have changed drastically due to the COVID-19 response.

In a recent announcement, Self advertised that he will once again be live-tweeting another Kansas game, this time the Elite Eight win over Duke from 2018. The replay is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. Central Time on CBS SN this Sunday, and you can find Bill Self’s Twitter here.

"“I hope you’ll enjoy my perspective and see the game in a new way when rewatching it on Sunday.  Just a heads up, you might want to keep Twitter handy during the noon broadcast.” -Bill Self"

Once again, being able to listen to Self breakdown a big-time basketball game should be fun and a good way to pass the time. In addition to live-tweeting the game, Self will also be starting a series called Self Perspective, where he will analyze key moments from big games.

The first episode of Self Perspective is in the initial announcement, where he breaks down the final five minutes of the ’18 Kansas-Duke game. Self said there are multiple other episodes being put together, and that they will be released on KUathletics.com when they come out. Sadly, there was no timetable on when the next installment is set to drop.

The new series seems incredibly interesting. Not many hall of fame coaches will go over film with the general public, so this is definitely something worth watching even for a non-Kansas basketball fan.
