Andrew Parchment, Senior WR

Andrew Parchment transferred to Kansas as a junior last season and it sure paid off for the Jayhawks. Parchment had a phenomenal year in 2019. He was an All-Big 12 honorable mention at wide receiver and Newcomer of the Year, so a first-team selection is certainly on his radar.

Here are some of Parchment’s stats from the 2019 season;

  • 829 receiving yards
  • 65 receptions
  • 7 touchdowns

Parchment totaled four games with 100 or more receiving yards, his best coming against West Virginia. Against the mountaineers, Parchment totaled 132 yards and two touchdowns including a 75-yard touchdown catch.

If Parchment has a similar year (or better), he’ll crack the top ten in all-time receiving yards at Kansas in just two seasons, so that’s something to keep an eye on in 2020.

Also, look for Parchment to be the leader of the Jayhawk receivers along with Stephon Robinson due to the graduation of Daylon Charlot. The receiving corps of Parchment, Robinson, and Lassiter will be one of the better trios in the conference next season under the coaching of Emmett Jones.

Trending. Bill Self has a big decision to make on Senior Night. light

For once, Kansas football actually has more than just one guy on offense that’s exciting to watch. Look for all three stars to be named to All-Big 12 teams given their skill and value to the Jayhawks especially if the coaches can’t get the quarterback position figured out.

Another factor to keep in mind is that the two seniors on the list will probably be looking to go to the NFL after their time at Kansas ends in 2020, so it’ll be interesting to see how their draft stock shifts throughout the season.
