Kansas football: Four goals for the Jayhawks in 2020
Goal Four: Finish in the top half of the conference in total offense
Last season, head coach Les Miles made a midseason coaching change that proved to be a great decision. Brent Dearmon took over at the Jayhawks’ offensive coordinator, which led to an increase in offensive production for Kansas.
Still, Dearmon isn’t a miracle worker, and he only became the Jayhawks’ offensive coordinator halfway through the year. The Jayhawks would go on to finish ninth in the conference in total offense.
With a full offseason to prepare for the 2020 season though, there’s no reason to think that the Jayhawks’ offense can’t put up some decent numbers in 2020. The fourth goal of Kansas football’s 2020 season is to finish in the top half of the Big 12 in total offense.
If the Jayhawks can put up points on the board, they’ll at least give themselves a chance to win a game or two in the Big 12 this season.
Kansas football is getting better, but there’s still a ways to go before this team is regularly winning games in the Big 12. If the Jayhawks can achieve these four goals in 2020, it’d certainly mean their on their way though, so let’s see just what Kansas is capable of next Fall.
