Kansas basketball tips off against the Oklahoma State Cowboys later tonight. Here’s what you need to know, including game time, odds, TV channel, and more.

Kansas basketball won an impressive victory last Saturday over the Tennessee Volunteers in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. They’ll try to keep that positive momentum rolling when they take on Oklahoma State tonight in Stillwater.

The Cowboys are coming off of a win as well, snapping a six-game losing skid. It was a road win over Texas A&M in the Big 12/SEC Challenge; however, Oklahoma State is still looking for their first Big 12 conference win this season.

Here is the line for the game, courtesy of The Action Network.

This will be the final game David McCormack sits out before his suspension is fulfilled. That means that the Jayhawks’ frontcourt is going to be extremely thin against the Cowboys, similar to Tennessee.

Udoka Azubuike will have to do his best to stay out of foul trouble, or Kansas will be forced to play a five guard lineup more than they’d like. Against the Vols, the five guard lineup was ineffective for the most part. The rim-protecting presence of Azubuike is critical, and Tennessee exposed the Jayhawks on the defensive end.

The good news for Kansas is that the Cowboys struggle on the offensive end according to KenPom. OSU is second to last in the Big 12 in the offense, so the Kansas defense should be able to keep the Cowboys from putting a ton of points on the board.

If Kansas wins this game, they’ll have won more conference road games this season than all of last season (with five road games after this one). A Big 12 title is still very much within Kansas basketball’s future if they continue to take care of business on the road. Hopefully, being shorthanded won’t cost Kansas.

As long as Azubuike doesn’t get into foul trouble, the Jayhawks should be fine on the road against the Cowboys. Just one more game and McCormack will return, and things will more or less be back to normal in terms of the rotation.
