The Good

Hear me out, those of you that are anti-ESPN+, there are some really great positives to the streaming service.

First, ESPN+ is $5.00 per month, and that’s a great value given the amount of content that you gain access to. The subscription comes with access to a host of live football and men’s basketball games, as well as NCAA women’s basketball, soccer, volleyball, and other college sports.

In addition to NCAA sanctioned sports, the service provides access to a number of professional leagues like the NHL, NBA, NBA G-League, UFC, and others.

Not only that, but there have also been some great ESPN, originals, like Miles to Go and the entire 30 for 30  library too.

In addition to its value, ESPN+ has some positives for Kansas basketball fans.

Namely, games against schools like Monmouth, or UMKC, get streamed into one place that’s easy to access. Nobody wants to watch Kansas blow out teams like Monmouth except for Kansas fans or possibly dedicated fans of Monmouth, so they certainly wouldn’t make it on to national TV.

While ESPN+ has its merits, it also has a number of problems.
