Happy Thanksgiving Jayhawks! It’s time to reflect on what we’re thankful for as Kansas fans, so here are four things Kansas Jayhawks fans can be grateful for today on Thanksgiving!

It’s Thanksgiving, basketball season is in full swing, the Jayhawks were crowned Maui Invitational champions, Duke lost, and life’s good. Hopefully, you’re spending this time among family and friends, but if not, just know that you have the entire Jayhawk nation to call family!

As Kansas fans, we have quite a bit to be thankful for, at least during the basketball season.

However, even though Kansas football is one of the worst college athletics programs in the country, we’ve still had some shining moments. Yes, despite the numerous embarrassments, disappointing coaches, and futility, Kansas football has provided some of the greatest moments in Jayhawks history.

When it comes to basketball, Jayhawk fans are pretty spoiled. 30 straight NCAA tournament appearances, five national titles, and over 60 regular-season conference titles. Not only that, but Kansas fans have witnessed some of the greatest players in basketball history come through Allen Fieldhouse.

Yeah, it’s pretty safe to say that both Kansas football and Kansas basketball fans have a lot to be thankful for, so here are four things that Kansas Jayhawks fans can be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
