Game 21: Home vs. Texas Tech

Texas Tech lost A LOT of their core pieces from last season’s Final Four team. But they are returning their star point guard in Davide Moretti, along with two talented transfers. They will be able to compete with Kansas in this game. Prediction- 73-68, Kansas

Game 22: Home vs. Texas

The biggest issue with Texas this season is their lack of proven 3-point shooters. And as everyone knows, you can’t expect to win inside Allen Fieldhouse if you don’t shoot the ball well. Prediction- 85-71, Kansas

Game 23: Away vs. TCU

Senior guard Desmond Bane — Second-Team All-Big 12 last season — will need to score 30+ points for TCU to have a chance to beat the Jayhawks. Prediction- 79-69, Kansas

Game 24: Away vs. West Virginia

As Kansas fans have quickly figured out, strange things happen when the Jayhawks play West Virginia in Morgantown. Kansas always has one awful performance and this could be it. Prediction- 75-65, West Virginia

Game 25: Home vs. Oklahoma

Unless junior sharpshooter Brady Manek goes off in this game, I would expect the Jayhawks to take care of business. Prediction- 83-72, Kansas

Game 26: Home vs. Iowa State

This will be a revenge game where the Jayhawks come out extremely motivated. I think they will limit Iowa State’s outside shooting and will dominate in the paint. Prediction- 88-69, Kansas

Game 27: Away vs. Baylor

As I mentioned earlier, Baylor has a really solid team. However, Kansas routinely takes care of business in Waco. I see this as being one of those grind-it-out wins that make Self believe that his team can win a national championship. Prediction- 69-66, Kansas

Game 28: Away vs. Kansas State

Kansas State’s defense will lead them to another Super Bowl victory in Bramlage Coliseum. Prediction- 70-68, Kansas State

Game 29: Home vs. TCU

This is a classic “Kansas can’t miss” game. Prediction- 93-68, Kansas

Game 30: Away vs. Texas Tech

I think Chris Beard will have his team peaking at the right time for this game. It should be a fun one to watch. Prediction- 73-70, Texas Tech
