Game 1: Neutral Site (Champions Classic) vs. Duke

Duke is extremely athletic and talented, but they are also extremely young. This game should be close throughout, but Kansas’ veteran leadership should lead them to victory. Prediction- 81-75, Kansas

Game 2: Home vs. UNC Greensboro

The UNC Greensboro Spartans were the No. 1 seed in the NIT last year, and they are returning their best player. They may give the Jayhawks some trouble in the first half. Prediction- 84-68, Kansas

Game 3: Home vs. Monmouth

Monmouth should be in the upper half of the MAAC conference this year, but they don’t stand a chance against Kansas. Prediction- 90-65, Kansas

Game 4: Home vs. East Tennessee State

East Tennessee State is returning 80% of their scoring from a year ago, including 88% of their 3-point shooting. They are one of those potential 12-seeds that bust everyone’s bracket in the NCAA Tournament. Kansas basketball will need to be careful against this team. Prediction- 79-69, Kansas

Game 5: Neutral Site (Maui Invitational) vs. Chaminade

Kansas will beat Chaminade by 1000 and will then await the winner of UCLA vs. BYU. The Jayhawks should be able to handle both of those teams pretty handily. That would lead to a potential tournament championship game against the no. 1 Michigan State Spartans. Unfortunately for Michigan State, their star shooting guard Joshua Langford hurt his foot and is out indefinitely. With that in mind, I think Kansas will have too much firepower for the Spartans to handle. Prediction- Kansas wins Maui Invitational over Michigan State, 75-69

Game 8: Home vs. Colorado

Led by 2018-19 First-Team All-Pac 12 selection in Tyler Bey, Colorado has some studs returning to Boulder this season. They should be able to give their old Big 8 Conference pals from Lawrence a run for their money in this game. Prediction- 82-76, Kansas

Game 9: Home vs. Milwaukee

Unless Giannis Antetokounmpo makes the trip, Kansas will annihilate the Milwaukee Panthers. Prediction- 98-64, Kansas

Game 10: Neutral Site (Sprint Center) vs. UM-Kansas City

UM-Kansas City is not good. Prediction- 89-63, Kansas
