It took a game-winning field goal for Texas to beat the Jayhawks last night. The Jayhawks are on the rise, and watching the Kansas football highlights against Texas certainly proves it.

This might be one of the most exciting games of the year in the Big 12. Too bad it was on the Longhorn Network. There were some incredible Kansas football highlights during the game, including insane catches, physical runs, and brilliant passes. All in all, the Jayhawks played well enough to win this game.

New offensive coordinator Brent Dearmon made a huge statement in his first game on the job. The Kansas offense put up 569 yards of total offense, didn’t turn the ball over, and was efficient on third down going 10/19. If Dearmon can keep this going on offense, the Jayhawks will have a chance in every game for the rest of the season.

Quarterback Carter Stanley and running back Pooka Williams played out of their minds last night on offense, leading to the offensive explosion. Stanley went 27-47 for 310 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also did some damage on the ground, rushing for 65 yards. Pooka Williams was unstoppable, picking up 190 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. He rushed for an average of 7.6 yards per carry.

The Kansas football highlights from this game are incredible all around:

It was a fun game to watch if you could. If you were one of the unfortunate ones that couldn’t get the game, don’t worry. Next week, Kansas will take on Texas Tech in The Booth at 6:00 PM, and the game will be broadcast on FS1.

light. More. Jayhawks get a moral win in road loss to Texas

These are exciting times for Kansas football fans. The Jayhawks offense looked great last night, and if Kansas makes a few less special teams errors, they more than likely go on to win that game. Texas Tech is a beatable opponent next week, and it will should be fun to see what Brent Dearmon cooks up for the Red Raider defense.
