It’s more likely you become a millionaire than Kansas beating Oklahoma

Business Insider published an article called “Your chance of becoming a millionaire depends a lot on your age” back in 2015. The research claims that if you’re under the age of 40, you have a one in 55 chance of accumulating over $1,000,000 in assets, or about a 1.8% chance.

While the 1.8% chance of being a millionaire is slightly less likely than Kansas winning (1.9%), the point is that the chance is basically the same.

If that’s not good enough though, the article goes on to claim that once you reach 62 years of age, the odds of being a millionaire jump to 14.2%.

Essentially, if a baby were born on Saturday, that child would have a better chance of becoming a millionaire in their lifetime than Kansas would of beating the Sooners that same day.
