Do the Kansas Jayhawks still have a path to six wins and a bowl game?

Texas Tech at home

The Red Raiders are off to a good start this season. So far, they’ve knocked off UTEP 38-3 and Montana State 45-10.  The high-powered Red Raider offense led by QB Alan Bowman is one that the Kansas offense will look to match. It seems more like a hope than a prediction at this point.

When these two teams meet in Lawrence on October 26, the Kansas offense will have surely improved from where it is now. Seriously, if they haven’t improved by this point in the season, Les Miles will be hearing it from the fanbase. Even if the offense does get better though, it’ll still be a challenge to outpace Texas Tech.

It’s a little too early to tell at this point, but this could be the kind of game Kansas wins because the other team plays sloppy football. If the Jayhawks can catch Bowman having an off-day, that would be a huge boost and make a win possible this week.
