Do the Kansas Jayhawks still have a path to six wins and a bowl game?

West Virginia at home

Kansas will take on West Virginia in week four at home. The Mountaineers are the consensus second-worst team in the Big 12. That means the Jayhawks will probably have a shot at taking down West Virginia.

This will be Kansas’ first conference game of the season, and it’s at home. A relatively good number of fans have shown up for both week one and week two, hopefully, another large showing from Jayhawk Nation will happen again in week four.

The Mountaineers have struggled so far this season. They beat FCS James Madison 20-13 in week one and then dropped their week two road game vs. Missouri 38-7. West Virginia will take on NC State in week three at home; the Wolfpack currently a 6.5 point favorite.

West Virginia and Kansas are both identical right now in terms of struggling offenses. It’s fairly certain that when these teams do meet, it may be one of the ugliest Big 12 games of the season from an offensive standpoint. It’ll be a low-scoring, sloppy, grind it out, kind of game that’ll be won by whichever team can capitalize better on the other’s mistakes. Seriously, the over/under might be set at like 24 for this game
